A Cheque From Google
Do you remember my previous post
about “A Mail From Google”, this
post I explain about what is Google
AdSense and Google send me pin number to activate AdSense payment. This
time, the continues post “A Mail From Google”, this time is “A Cheque From Google”, the 2nd
episode. After waiting about 3 weeks, lastly, last Thursday (7 Jun 2007)
evening, I got my cheque straight from Sweden
(Because it’s have chop from Sweden, maybe Swiss
Bank..). It’s my first ever cheque
from Google AdSense, I hope this is just the beginning to make side income from
internet. That’s a lot of the way how to make side income from internet. This
time maybe I’ll just focus on the AdSense only because I have other commitments
for my job as an IT Executives. I hope can apply the concept “multiple
streams of income”, what is this concept? To know what is this concept,

Now, what is my next step after
got this cheque? Of couse I ‘ll clear this cheque to get cash. Oppps I forgot
to mention how much the value of this cheque..but you already can see the cash
on above picture right? The cheque value is USD $128.25, if convert to RM is about RM444.18. I convert this value use this http://www.oanda.com/convert/classic,
to get current exchange currency. Huh…I don’t know which bank to uses to
clear the cheque, right now, my choice is between CIMB Bank, Maybank and Muamalat Bank. Maybe I will clear the
cheque at CIMB Bank because at this bank I’ve an saving account and the charge
is low, about RM5-RM100. Maybank charge
is too expensive, Bank Muamalat is the
lowest charge but I don’t have an account in that bank, maybe after my
income from AdSense consistent, I’ll use this bank to clear the cheque
(Hopefully).
Last, tomorrow (Monday, 11 June
2007) I’ll go to CIMB Bank to clear the cheque. Then, I’ll waiting the money
for about 3-4 weeks soon. Insya Allah, I’ll got this money, even it is not big
value, but it’s gives me a lot of courage and knowledge about a true money from
internet, it’s not illegal investment
like SwissCash or etc. The key here is, “knowledge
is everything in your life”. “Tuntutlah Ilmu Sehingga Ke Liang Lahad”.
Below is the list of charge from
Malaysia Bank to clear Google AdSense Cheque:
* Hong Leong Bank:
RM50 + RM10 (courier) + USD75 (Citibank Delaware)
* MayBank:RM25 + USD10 0.1% of the
cheque (min: RM25.00, max: RM100).
USD15 + unknown charge from the
overseas bank
PublicBank: 0.1% of cheque amount
(min: RM20, max: RM100) Postage: RM5 Stamp duty: RM0.15
* HSBC: RM11
* EON Bank: RM10
* BCB: 0.1% charge (min: RM5, max: RM100) Postage: RM5 Stamp
duty: RM0.15
Note: You can deposit your check to the home branch only. But, you can mail
your check to your BCB account’s home branch for bank-in.
* RHB: Postage: RM5.00 Stamp Duty:
RM0.15 Commission: 0.1% of your cheque amount (minimum RM 10.00 and maximum RM
100.00)
* Standard Chartered: 0.01% of
cheque amount OR min RM 50.
* Bank
Muamalat: RM5 (The lowest charge)
* Alliance:
~RM70
* Southern Bank: RM30 + RM0.15 stamp
duty.
